I found an interesting article about Vodafone Recovery! Although one can find many tales of recovery agents from banks, telecom companies etc. in many websites like mouthshut.com, http://www.consumergrievance.com

Though every company should recover pending dues from defaulters, but this kind of recovery system is totally inhuman. Here is the post:

Finally i was in Delhi after eating much of Dosas and Idlis in Bangalore and i was using a HUTCH mobile number in Bangalore (It was Bangalore when i was there), in fact i have taken the connection as soon as they launched in Bangalore. So i opted for taking a HUTCH connection here too.

Then in 2005-06 the Orange in Mumbai was terminated gradually and introduced Hutch. After aquiring 67% of Hutchkinson Essar from Hong Kong based Hutkinson Whampoa, VODAFONE Essar was all set to enter in Indian mobile market and i was really happy that my operator logo will be changed automatically from HUTCH to VODAFONE. I was kind of desperately wanted to use VODAFONE, as i have been watching their logo on England Cricket Team shirts since i was a kid. … Source.
