I have been thinking about safe use of credit cards. Most probably, credit cards are very useful in buying tickets online. Travel needs are something which people may not be able to predict correctly. So, it is actually prudent to have one or two credit cards for emergency use for buying tickets.

Here are my few ideas of usage of safe credit cards:

1. Always remember your Credit card pins. Avoid using your mobile number as pin.
2. Always sign back of your credit card. You must do it as soon as you receive the card.
3. Never use your Credit card on websites unknown to you. Normally the websites for buying tickets are quite famous. Normally one should buy from airline’s website directly. It may be cheaper as well as safer.
4. Do not keep photocopies of your credit cards and do not give to photocopies of your credit cards to unknown people.
5. Always keep a record of all transactions yourself and contact customer care immediately in case of any discrepancy.
